Angelica Perez’s poetry is a blend of encouragement and support for the soul that is weary. She brings in her spirituality and her Source of inspiration, without the reader feeling “religiously” pounced upon. It’s a serious read, but an easy read for the experienced/or novice poetry reader. She reveals the difficult experience of living with pain, and what chronic illness is like for a “spoonie.” Ms Perez leaves one with hope and promise that “living” is possible for those of us suffering daily with a life limiting disease.

You feel the pain the sorrow the fear the joy in every word. The Author definitely has a gift of writing and she walks you through the long arduous path taken by someone who is living a life of pain and then rescued. A must read for encouragement both spiritual and physical!!!

Wonderful and Heartfelt!

Very talented writer! You can really feel the pain and heartache as well as triumph through her writing. I highly recommend to anybody who has ever felt the touch of God upon their lives.

It calls to me.
By BeyondEmpathy
“Mentality Listens” calls to every person that has or continues to have chronic pain and identifies with the questions and struggles that we face minute by minute and hour by hour. It explores the darkness that each of us finds ourselves plunged into and the questions of “why me?” and helps through its pages to help to offer the warm embrace that we are not alone and that despite our fears and anger the God remains at our side. Pain sadly does become part of our personal “shadow” and through the authors poems helps the reader to integrate or struggles into our personal development of self”

Lesson Learned
By Daniel Perez
Two mistakes were made when I received this book, I showed it to a friend and I let them read from it. Now they will not give it back and I have to get another. Tip for other Great Literary enthusiasts, start off with getting at least two copies before spreading the word on how amazing it is. Awesome!!!

Thanks for this connect

Your book is truly a wonderful one of a kind exception, and in no way similar to any poetry while praising the Lord, Wow and Wow. To me this is what I call a gift from God, you have been chosen to deliver the word in a more settle way. I could go on and on, but the good thing is I must read the next book to be able to go on this journey that opens new ways of seeing life as it is intended
